This summer, Halfway Down the Stairs will be sponsoring some vacation fun. In place of regular bimonthly issues for May/June and July/August, the magazine will be publishing weekly installments of two special issues, the Summer Book and Nursery Rhyme clubs. Each week, the Book Club will feature activities to accompany a chapter of E. Nesbit's The Wouldbegoods, and the Nursery Rhyme Club will publish a three-page mini-magazine. UPDATE: The Summer Nursery Rhyme Club ends this week, and the Book Club is winding down. In September, we'll switch back to publishing regular issues, though there will now be a new issue every month instead of every other month. I hope you enjoyed the summer "clubs". See you in the fall!
